Inbox import

E-receipts land in mail. Syncs files the ones that look like slips so you do not forward them by hand.

Gmail

Google mailbox

Connect Gmail in the console. Syncs looks for messages and attachments that look like receipts - PDFs, images, and typical e-slip senders - then files them in your workspace.

Outlook

Microsoft mailbox

Same import job, for Outlook and Microsoft 365. Connect once; Syncs pulls e-receipts from the mailbox you choose.

  • Works with personal Outlook and work mail
  • Only the mailbox you connect is read
IMAP

Any other mailbox

If your mail is not Gmail or Outlook - a host, ISP, or custom domain - connect with IMAP. Syncs uses the same receipt-finding pass on that inbox.

  • Standard IMAP host, username, and password
  • Useful for MWEB, Webafrica, and domain mail
  • Credentials are stored encrypted

Camera app

Snap a till slip before you leave the counter. The Android app uses the same account as console.syncs.co.za - same receipts, same workspace.

Every scan and import goes through a read that knows a South African slip. You confirm what it found - it is a helper, not a filing.
